Terms

Access, permissions and responsibilities when using AFIE.

Last updated October 10, 2026

Scope

AFIE (Agentic Founder Intelligence Exchange) is a product of Augmentation Company (“AFIE,” “we,” “us”). These terms govern access to and use of the AFIE website and enabled services. By using AFIE, you agree to these terms. If a separate written agreement governs your organization’s use, that agreement controls to the extent of any conflict.

AFIE supports professional communities, venture capital firms and founders through messaging, knowledge access and introductions. Service participation is invitation-only. Features, connections and permitted actions depend on your workspace, authorization and the applicable release. A description of a feature is not a commitment to a particular availability or release date.

Eligibility and access

You must be an adult with authority to enter into these terms. If acting for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so. Provide accurate account information, safeguard your access credentials and use only accounts and information you are entitled to access. An invitation does not authorize access to another person’s account or data.

Do not bypass security or permission controls, impersonate another person, introduce malicious software, misuse connected services or interfere with AFIE. Use must comply with applicable law and the rights of other people and organizations.

Content and permissions

You retain your rights in content you provide. You authorize AFIE to process that content as reasonably necessary to provide the features you use, subject to your permissions, these terms and any applicable written agreement. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit content, connect sources and designate an audience for shared information.

Connecting an account does not transfer ownership of its information or provide blanket permission to disclose it. Source permissions, workspace access controls and action-specific approvals apply. Review the requested permissions before connecting a service.

AFIE will not use customer content to train or fine-tune AI models or authorize its AI providers to do so. AFIE will process customer content through AI model and embedding providers under zero data retention arrangements, under which those providers do not retain submitted content or resulting outputs after processing. These commitments cover connected-account data and derived content as described in the Privacy notice. They do not eliminate AFIE’s own service records or the retention practices of connected services.

The Privacy notice describes information handling. Delete data explains available controls, revocation and request procedures.

AI assistance and authorized actions

AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Verify material facts and review source information before relying on an output. AFIE does not provide legal, investment, financial or other regulated professional advice and does not guarantee funding, introductions or business outcomes.

Review recipients, content and other material details before approving a message, meeting, introduction or other external action. Approving an action authorizes its execution as presented. Introductions and contact disclosures remain subject to the applicable participants’ consent and any connected system’s requirements.

Third-party services and intellectual property

Connected services and external sites, including Augmentation Company and The Residency, may have their own terms and privacy policies. Their availability, permissions and processing practices are governed by the applicable provider. You remain responsible for complying with the terms of services you connect.

Rights in AFIE software, website materials and branding remain with their respective owners, subject to applicable licenses and law. These terms grant no ownership interest in those materials.

Availability, commercial terms and ending use

AFIE may change or suspend features or restrict access to address security, misuse, legal requirements or service operations. Availability is subject to the applicable service agreement. Maintain independent copies of information you need. Fees and other commercial commitments apply only where separately agreed.

You may stop using AFIE and revoke connected-account access. Ending access, leaving a workspace and deleting stored information are distinct actions. Retention and deletion remain subject to applicable agreements, permissions and legal requirements. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes and contact

Updates to these terms will be posted with a revised date, with any additional notice or consent required by law. Changes to this page do not by themselves amend a separately signed agreement.
